'Custard Factory Reception' continues the 'Art Digbeth' exhibition.
Alongside the previous artists, further artists participated.
Paul Newman’s practice evolves from painting; merging with performance, film and photography, collage and installation.
Steve Evans' work is rooted in his interest in architectural detail, space, the way that shape and form provide stability and the effects created by superimposition of lines.
Kay Bainbridges' paintings are imaginaryspaces that are intended to give a sense ofplace with their own laws of physics.
Edward Cartwrights' sculptures are beautiful reflections of the post industrial landscape of the Black Country.
Open Studios
Also as part of the 'Weekender' exhibitions, the gallery hosted an open studios featuring Custard Factory Artists.
Alexi K had a retrospective of his work created over the past ten years.
Other artists opened their doors to the public. Amongst them were Lucy Fiona Morrison, Stephen Earl Rogers, Laura Rhodes, Al Leeming and Zarina Keyani.

Alexi K considers popular culture, words and architecture in his work.
Al Leeming responds to concerns surrounding information and identity culture as a result of traditional and modern forms of media.
Zarina Keyani’s paintings are a comment on cultural history, diversity and the nature of the City.
